This is one of the forty-odd UseNet groups that I check virtually every day.

Only about half a dozen of my groups regularly have any posts!

Usenet is dying,
few want to keep servers for it,
few know about it, especially since in the old
Unix,command line, needing a university/college
account [pre-1993 I'm talking] or depended on
local sysops....system operators...carrying a limited
number of news groups...usually geared by OS or some narrow
focus, on their bulletin board systems with one hour limits
and when 9600baud was considered fast.

Most of the under 30's only know of the web boards, privately owned,
with some really snotty moderators {James from mozillazine,for one}
